The Friendly Animals of Barnsley Farm

Life slows down for guests at Barnsley Resort, even more so when sharing in a simple taste of life on the Barnsley Farm. In addition for being the location to saddle up for a guided horseback ride, our farm and barn area feature a variety of four-legged friends, including donkeys, goats, miniature horses, Jersey calves and other gentle creatures. Kids are especially fond of Barnsley Farm, where the expert staff is eager to provide a safe, entertaining, and educational experience for everyone. Saunter down to the farm any day between 9 and 9:45 A.M. to participate in the morning feeding. Then take a moment to check out the Chef’s Garden, where we cultivate many of the delicious ingredients that eventually make their way onto your plate at the Rice House. On Friday afternoons between 4 and 5:30 P.M., head over to Barnsley Beer Garden, where you’ll get a friendly nuzzle from the visiting animals along with a complimentary Beer Garden Margarita or Lavender Lemonade.
