Barnsley Resort is a privately owned property and does not allow access to the grounds for professional photography without express prior permission. Following please find additional information regarding photography and filming at Barnsley Resort.

Weddings & Special Events

For weddings and other special events held at the resort, photography and filming may be coordinated working with the designated special events or conference services manager.

Personal Photo Shoots

Barnsley Resort is a private property, and personal photo shoots are not permitted at the resort. Examples of personal photo shoots that are not allowed include engagements, family portraits, graduation, prom, homecoming and other situations that may or may not include hiring a third party photographer. If a third party photographer indicates they have permission to access the resort “at any time” or similar, this information is incorrect and this individual may be subject to removal or revocation. Exceptions to engagement photos may be made for couples who have confirmed their wedding plans at Barnsley Resort. These arrangements are confirmed and approved by the couple's designated event manager.

Commercial Photography & Filming

Commercial photography is intended to showcase a product or other commercial interest. Rental fees apply and specific locations must be reserved in advance through Group Sales or Conference Services. For assistance with commercial photography or filming, please contact Group Sales at 770.773.7480 ext. 2050. The resort President or Director of Marketing must approve of any commercial photo shoot or filming before it may be confirmed and approval of the resulting photographs or video footage before it is published. Commercial shoots, once approved, are limited to approved locations within the resort as arranged with the designated event manager for this event.
