Barnsley Resort offers a variety of venues including tranquil gardens, lush lawns, beautiful ballrooms, intimate cottage spaces, historic ruins and stunning verandas. Each building and venue offers a unique atmosphere to suit different events.

We can accommodate a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Our venues range in size to suit a variety of gatherings, from private rooms for board meetings to expansive ballrooms for more grand affairs.

We will be pleased to make arrangements for fresh floral designs, décor to complement your theme, entertainment or recreational needs you may have during your stay. Our in house design specialist can work with you to bring your vision to life with recommendations to enhance your event. Consult with your Conference Services Manager for details and additional costs. Any desired decorations, signage, materials, entertainment, and /or outside vendors not arranged through Barnsley Resort must have prior approval.

Barnsley Resort offers the services of Encore Audiovisual Solutions as our in-house AV service provider to ensure your AV needs are met and your event is a success.

Yes, you can have an event at the Manor House Ruins. The Manor House Ruins is an impressive backdrop for any event. The Lawn in front of the charming Barnsley Museum overlooks the boxwood parterre and is perfect for a ceremony or open-air event. With its exposed timber beams and specialty brick matching the existing Manor House Ruins, the open-air Manor House Pavilion provides an enchanting covered option for private events, receptions and ceremonies for up to 415 guests.
