Tapas & Wine Tasting Featuring The Prisoner Wine Company

Savor wine tastings with featured selections from the weekend’s featured winery, The Prisoner Wine Company, from Napa Valley, with tapas-style pairings curated by Barnsley Resort Executive Chef Marc Suennemann. Guests also receive a complimentary tapas book signed by the chef!

Celebrate the start of the festive season with a family friendly holiday celebration, counting down to the official lighting of the Barnsley Resort Village. Enjoy visits with Santa, seasonal refreshments, hands-on crafts for kids and live music surrounding the center of the village. Plus, enjoy rides on the Barnsley Resort Holiday Train Presented by Cartersville Museum City.
Parking passes required for off-property visitors only. Overnight resort guests and members enjoy complimentary access.

Turkey Trot Family Fun Run/Walk

Burn off some calories before the Thanksgiving Day feast! Run or walk at your own pace to connect with nature on a 5K route throughout the resort’s grounds, with a one-mile option for kids!

Thanksgiving Day Buffet

Gather around the table with family or friends this Thanksgiving at Barnsley Resort. An elaborate Thanksgiving Buffet is presented in Georgian Hall featuring traditional and elevated holiday dishes, presented alongside a decadent array of desserts.

Local gardening experts are available to share stories about local flora and fauna while providing assistance with creating a beautiful holiday wreath.

Learn about the fascinating and sometimes tragic tales of Godfrey and Julia Barnsley’s love story along with interesting facts about their descendants and the unique legacy of their estate, originally known as Woodlands. A knowledgeable expert leads guests on this engaging tour of the resort’s historic district as guests enjoy wine tastings from selections of featured wines.
