Dog Days of Summer

Celebrate the Dog Days of Summer at Barnsley Resort with a tail-wagging day of fun for pups and their people. Capture special memories with dog portrait mini sessions at the Manor House Ruins with CM Bryson Photography. Treat your pup to specialty biscuits from Big Daddy Dog Biscuits, refreshing pupsicles and a Crew La La pop-up shop. Enjoy exciting Frisbee Disc Dog demonstrations and interactive lessons with Happy Disc Doggers in the Fugger Cabin Meadow. The festivities continue with a Yappy Hour featuring Lucky One Lemonade and live music from Scott Thompson.
Dog Portrait Mini Sessions | $75 per session
Two pups will be scheduled per 30-minute session. Each dog/dog family will have their own 15-minute session within the half hour timeslot. Event organizers will follow up prior to the event to confirm your specific photography time window. Price excludes tax and 20% service charge. 50% of mini session proceeds will be donated to a select nonprofit.

Reconnect with wildlife and learn about the birds of prey found in North Georgia. View multiple species of owls and a red-tailed hawk, all presented safely and informatively by the experts from Blue Ridge Raptors. Each participant receives a Sibley’s Guide to Raptors of Eastern North America.
