Wine Spectator Award of Excellence Winner, 2014
The 1800s era farm house, now known as the Rice House restaurant, serves as the historical cornerstone on the north lawn of the resort. Meticulously dismantled on the original Rice Plantation in nearby Rome, Georgia before it was carefully relocated and resurrected at Barnsley Resort, our culinary team pays homage to the home's Southern heritage. Our chef relies on locally farm-grazed cattle and garden-grown produce (inquire about what is grown here at the resort) as well as taking inspiration from what is in the moment and unexpected in his interpretation of new Southern regional cuisine. Ask the Wine Snob to suggest pairings from his extensive cellar to complement your meal.
The Sun Porch and two small private dining rooms are perfect for guests wishing to entertain friends or colleagues.
