Premier Shooting Clays Facility

Shooting enthusiasts will discover one of the top sporting clays facilities in the Southeast at SpringBank Sporting Club. 2 14-station clays courses boast a diverse layout of shots in the open field, under a natural canopy in the woods and over water with two reclaimed bauxite mine ponds. A covered five-stand features multiple targets for team-building games and friendly competition. For tournaments and special events, an open-air pavilion overlooks an expansive open field.

  • Sporting Clays

    As an authorized dealer of Caesar Guerini Shotguns, rental options and ammunition are available at SpringBank Sporting Club. For shooting enthusiasts, annual sporting clays memberships are also available.
    Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed before or during shooting activities.

  • Caesar Guerini Wings and Clays School

    Together with the leading manufacturer of Italian-made shotguns, the Caesar Guerini Wings and Clays School is based at SpringBank Sporting Club at Barnsley Resort, offering a world-class shooting experience. Each instruction school is offered in a one or two-day session, depending on each individual's schedule and shooting needs. From the first-time "shotgunner" to the experienced upland bird hunter and clay target enthusiast, each guest receives personal attention and instruction from our NSCA certified instructors in a relaxed setting tailored to each student's pace.

    Each school includes a short classroom session before moving to the shooting grounds. During hunting season, quail shooting can be incorporated into the school.
    Caesar Guerini shotguns are available for rent, or participants may bring their own.

    1 Day School - $495
    2 Day School - $990
    Includes equipment, guns, ammunition, eye/ear protection and lunch

  • Private Shooting Instruction

    Per hour, per person - $135
    Each additional person (up to 4) - $45
    Includes instruction and gun rental. Does not include ammunition and targets.

A Natural Habitat for a Genuine Hunt

Our sister property, SpringBank Plantation, offers over 1800 acres offering quail hunting, pheasant shooting and duck hunts. Fifteen zones of rolling hills and flatlands landscaped with an excellent quail habitat and Georgian Pine forests offer challenging bird hunting, while our clubhouse is a welcoming place to relax after a day in the field.

    Full-Day Hunt - $875/person
    Includes guides, dogs, 50 birds, Jeep® and lunch at Woodlands Grill.
    Minimum 2 hunters required.

    DUCK HUNTING
    Half-Day Hunt - $365/person
    Morning: Sunrise start; 2 hour hunt
    Includes guides, dogs, 4 ducks
    6-12 hunters required.

    PHEASANT HUNTING
    Half-Day Hunt - $299/person
    Includes 15 birds and dog handlers with retrievers
    Advanced reservations required
    12-24 shooters required.

  • 1. Trainers Quail Membership

    $2,150

    This package includes the opportunity to harvest 75 quail between October 2018 and March 2019. This is a one-person package with a guest rate of $25 per guest, per day. A guide will be available upon request at $185 per guide. This annual rate is based on half- day hunts.

    • Unused birds will not carry over to next season and must be used by end of February

Learn the Art of Fly Fishing

Our resort village grounds have several stocked ponds to practice angling with one of our knowledgeable instructors, for experienced fly fishing enthusiasts or a novice wanting to learn the skills of tying a lure and casting a line. Expert guides from Cohutta Fishing Company in Cartersville, Georgia also offer fly fishing instruction and guide trips along North Georgia’s natural waterways.

  • Fly Casting Lessons

    Learn the art of fly casting with a knowledgeable instructor from SpringBank Sporting Club. Numerous ponds throughout the resort offer an opportunity to test your skills.
