History Museum:
Explore a bit of Civil War history with a visit to our museum located on property and a short drive from Atlanta, GA. Learn more of the History of The Barnsley Estate and the early beginnings of what is now known as our infamous luxury resort. Our Museum is attached to The Ruins and once served as the kitchen for the main house. The museum houses all artifacts related to the properties history. The Barnsley Family is highlighted with many of their belongings on display. Additionally, there are Civil War artifacts to view.
A currator is on duty and will be happy to answer and questions you may have. We do hope that you will stop by for a little history lesson during your stay.
Museum hours are 9am-5pm daily.
