Beyond being merely pet-friendly, our luxury resort offers guests an ideal getaway for doggie bonding with more than 3,300 acres of natural beauty to explore. Hike the historic grounds filled with ruins and landscaped gardens or snuggle fireside on the couch in a cozy cottage living room. It's enough to make pet lovers want to turn around three times, scratch out a spot, and stay for awhile.

Sure to get tails wagging , we declare the Summer of 2013 "THE DOG DAYS OF SUMMER".  This summer when you and your loyal companion travel to Barnsley for a getaway, we will make a donation to PAWS Atlanta. For this special, guests traveling with pets who are staying on one of the resort's great two night packages in a Suite or Arbor Cottage will have the standard pet fee waived AND the resort will donate $75 to PAWS, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the welfare of homeless cats and dogs. Guests can escape with the furry member of their family for the summer season  while also supporting a wonderful cause. 

There is no better place in Georgia to get away with the furry members of your family. With more than 10 miles of hiking trails and beautiful gardens to explore, outdoor sitting areas with fire pits and lawn games for relaxing time together along with outdoor dining venues like our Beer Garden and Rice House Herb Garden, your furry friend will feel like he's taken a trip to paradise.

Here at Barnsley Gardens Resort, we have no pet weight limits. We do not require pets to be crated but do ask that pets be leashed while in the village. All of our public facilities are open to pets, with the exception of the spa, fitness center, pool area and indoor restaurants (due to local health codes).

Pet friendly accommodations include our Garden or Meadow Suites, Arbor Cottages. Standard amenities for pets include: pet beds, bowls, bottled water and treats. Pet sitting may be arranged with advance notice.
